The Hare and The Tortoise

Welcome to this week's storyblog, one of Aesop's Fables. Two animals are ready to take part in a race. The hare is in such a hurry that he doesn't think properly. The tortoise takes things nice and steady.  I wonder who will win?

Tinsel and Mittens

Find a blanket and snuggle up to enjoy two more Christmas themed stories. This week there is a story that tells us how tinsel came to be used to decorate our Christmas trees and a story from the Ukraine that I have adapted slightly to fit in with Christmas. Lamby and I hope you enjoy them.

The Story of Kintu

Tomorrow (9th October) is Uganda's Independence Day so this week's story is a traditional tale from Uganda.
There were lots to choose from but eventually I selected this one. I hope you enjoy it...

Man's Best Friend!

Hi everyone, this is the latest video storyblog from Little Lamb Tales.
This week, Lamby and I have chosen a story that was told to me by a story telling legend - Taffy Thomas.  He is based in the Lake District and has a memory like the largest library in the world. I was lucky enough to attend a workshop with him where he shared this gem.  So this was Taffy's gift to me and now it is my gift to you.  ENJOY!
